MBA Students Blog About International Residency Experiences

They span the globe from Ghana to Vietnam, relaying stories as rich and varied as the nations they are visiting. First-year, Global MBA candidates at GWSB who are participating in International Residency Projects around the world are sharing their experiences through a blog that details their travels abroad and their work for international clients.
The project is part of the first-year curriculum of each Global MBA candidate, and includes both an academic component taught on campus followed by a tw0-week trip to the client country in mid-May, during which students work directly with their international clients in the client country. During the residency, students work as business consultants for their partner organizations and present their business plans and final recommendations to each client at the program’s conclusion.
This year’s projects are taking place in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil; Accra, Ghana; Belgrade, Serbia; Mälardalen, Sweden; Istanbul, Turkey; and Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. For information about the current projects and to read the blog, visit: http://gwsbresidency.wordpress.com/
