Classnotes: Derek Grosso

Derek Grosso, BBA, ’01, has been recognized by Columbus C.E.O. Magazine as “Best Community Leader” of 2010. Grosso serves as President/CEO of the Columbus Young Professionals Club (CYP CLUB), a “for-impact” membership organization that he founded in 2005 that has grown to become one of the nation’s largest and most active for 21-45 year-olds, with more than 12,000 members. The CYP CLUB was also recognized as “Best Networking Organization” and for offering the “Best Charity Event” for A Date 2 Remember – a date auction and fashion show that has raised nearly $150,000 for local charities in central Ohio.
