Vanessa Perry, associate professor of marketing, discussed the role of advertising in the mortgage crisis in a session entitled “Following the Money: Journalism and the Economic Crisis,” during the National Conference for Media Reform on April 8 in Boston. This panel included Nobel Laureate Joseph Stiglitz, Anya Schiffrin of Columbia University, Dean Starkman of the Columbia Journalism Review and Chi Chi Wu of the National Consumer Law Center.
