Shawn DuBravac
Shawn DuBravac, GWSB adjunct professor and chief economist and director of research at the Consumer Electronics Association, was featured in the TechNewsDaily.com article, “Despite Down Economy, Tablets, ‘Smartphones’ Fuel Consumer Spending,” on March 23. The article discussed the rise in sales for smartphones and computer tablets, such as the iPad, and the reasons behind the growth. “Certainly the tablet launches that were seen over the last several weeks drove interest,” DuBravac, told TechNewsDaily. “Many buyers of the iPad 2 did not own a first generation iPad ― that market is definitely expanding.”
