Doug Guthrie, dean and professor of international business and professor of management, was featured on the Planet Forward web site, a project of the Center for Innovative Media at the George Washington University.  In the Feb. 18 piece, “The key to the future of renewable energy is federal investment,” he discusses the importance of federal investment for green businesses. “New industries do not get built through investment in private sector alone, and they do not get built through tax credits,” Guthrie said.  We need leadership from the federal government to really help companies underwrite their business development.”
