GWSB Launches World Executive MBA

The George Washington University School of Business has launched a new World Executive MBA program designed to meet the needs of busy professionals who want a customized program that combines real-world experiences and rigorous classroom learning.  The program offers students the flexibility to receive their MBA. in 16 months, with opportunities for hands-on residencies in Washington and around the world.  The program’s core curriculum will focus on themes such as ethical leadership, understanding the global economy and mastering business functions.

Highlights of the World Executive MBA program include:

  • Consulting practicums that add practical experience to students’ coursework;
  • Hands-on experience through residency programs in the United States and abroad;
  • Opportunities for students to solve business issues within their own organizations through a “Business Challenge” case study; and
  • Personalized leadership coaching to guide students through an individualized leadership plan.

“At the GW School of Business, our mission is to give students the tools they need to become responsible business leaders in the global economy,” said Doug Guthrie, GWSB dean and professor of international business and management.  “Cutting-edge programs such as the school’s World Executive MBA provide students with the exceptional leadership skills and the real-world experiences they need to succeed.”
