Salah Hassan, chair and professor for the Department of Marketing, was featured on Zawya, an online business website that focuses on the Middle East. The Jan. 24 article, “Bee’ah Announces Environmental Research Institute,” announced environmental management company Bee’ah’s plans to launch an Environmental Research Institute by the end of 2011.
GW students will conduct a three-month research internship focusing on developing a five-year business development and public awareness plan based on international best practices and market research. “Bee’ah is an example of what we stand for – commitment to educating the youth,” Hassan said. “Our students will not only experience firsthand what it means to work with an emerging global leader, but will also learn important lessons about integrity and positive environmental change.”
