Nielsen, dean’s research scholar and assistant professor of management, had “Utility of OCB: Organizational Citizenship Behavior and Group Performance in a Resource Allocation Framework” selected for publication in the Journal of Management. A top-tier journal in business, the Journal of Management is ranked #5/112 journals in the SSCI’s “management” category based on a 2009 impact factor of 4.4. This impact factor (IF) is similar to top journals from other fields such as the Journal of Finance (IF=3.8), Journal of Accounting and Economics (IF=2.6), Journal of International Business Studies (IF=3.8), Journal of Marketing (IF=3.8), and Management Science (2.2).
