GWSB Students Compete in CUIBE Case Competition

Four GWSB students participated in the first annual Northeastern University Consortium of Undergraduate International Business Education (CUIBE) International Business Case Competition. Marilyn Cummings, Xichao Liu, Ashley Lowes and Chad Spangler, nominated by professors and interviewed by team adviser James Thurman, associate professor of strategic management and public policy, were selected for the team.

A total of 16 teams competed in this Nov. 6, 2010, case competition. The GWSB team placed second in preliminary round behind the University of Southern California. The top team from each preliminary round group advanced to the final round. The University of Southern California placed first in the entire competition.
