In the Oct. 22 article, “China, India not overpaying for oil, expert says,” he responded to concerns about those nations’ oil acquisitions. “With economic competition from a new source, anxiety is a typical reaction,” Weiner said. “[But] Chinese companies are going around buying oil at commercial terms; they’re not doing anything different.”
