Jorge Rivera, associate professor of strategic management and public policy, was featured in an article on Greenwire. In the Oct. 15 article, “Too-loud SunChips bag underscores green products’ problems,” he commented on the challenges of marketing green products. “The green product has to be in the same store [customers] usually go to and in the same aisle at the same eye level. Most people will not drive two more miles to buy recycled paper,” Rivera said.
