GWSB Accounting Undergraduates Honored

Rong He, BA,‘11, and Nadia Farooqi, BA,‘11, were recognized by The Ben Franklin Chair in Accountancy for their excellence in accounting. The students were each awarded $5,000 at the June 12 alumni luncheon this summer. Each year The Ben Franklin Chair in Accountancy honors two GW accounting undergraduates at their alumni luncheon in a continuing spirit of cooperation with GW. Krishna Kumar, Benjamin Franklin professor of accounting, students, alumni and Merv Conn, a legendary accordionist, were in attendance at this year’s ceremony which took place at La Trattoria.
