Several first-year GWSB global MBA students took top honors in a regional round of the GE Experienced Commercial Leadership (ECLP) case competition, held Oct. 8 at GWSB. Two teams of first-year MBA students from GWSB, the University of Virginia and Carnegie Mellon University, represented each school in the competition. The teams focused on the global challenge of obesity. GWSB teams took first and third place, while second place went to the team from UVA.
This competition is the first of two regional challenges taking place during the next month. The winners of each regional competition will get the chance to compete in the national case competition this November at GE headquarters in Fairfield, Conn., present to top GE executives and interview for ECLP summer internship positions.
