Mark Starik, professor and chair of the Department of Strategic Management and Public Policy and director of the GW Institute for Sustainability Research, Education and Policy, was featured in the The GW Hatchet. In his Sept. 16 letter to the editor, Starik applauded GW for the success of the Freshman Day of Service. “It’s always great to see and hear about the next generation being involved with improving living conditions in our neighborhoods and around the planet,” he said.
