Mark Starik, professor and chair of the Department of Strategic Management and Public Policy, gave several presentations this August. He was one of three faculty mentors at the Aug. 22-27th University of St. Gallen Oikos Young Scholars Entrepreneurship Academy, where he presented his talk titled, “What Is Solid (Quality) Research?” He also attended the 2010 Academy of Management meetings in Montreal from Aug. 6-10, where he presented two additional lectures: “Creating Sustainability Theory – Considering Theory ‘S’ ” and “Greening Academic Business Institutions and Stakeholders.”
