GWSB was featured in Net Impact’s 2010 Business as UNusual: The Student Guide to Graduate Programs, which provides a comprehensive directory of graduate programs that foster social and environmental sustainability through business.
The guide includes 95 programs compiled from the opinions of 3,000 students within the Net Impact network. Net Impact is an international nonprofit organization with a mission to inspire, educate and equip individuals to use the power of business to create a more socially and environmentally sustainable world.
“The George Washington University School of Business stands out from other schools because of its outstanding resources and public commitment to responsible business practices,” the guide’s authors wrote.
In July, the Net Impact chapter of GWSB attained a gold rating, joining an elite group of student-led chapters worldwide. Only seven percent of Net Impact chapters across six continents have attained gold chapter status. The gold chapters are “the most outstanding chapters in the global Net Impact network characterized by energetic members, dynamic leadership, and excellence in all that they do,” according to Net Impact.
