Academy of Management Meeting Offers Opportunity for Collaboration

The Academy of Management meeting, held August 6-10 in Montreal, was the site of an unprecedented collaboration among GWSB Departments of Strategic Management and Public Policy, Management, International Business, and the Graduate School of Education and Human Development’s Educational Leadership Development Program. The departments held a joint networking event for all GW Academy attendees. Speakers included Mark Starik, department chair and professor of strategic management and public policy; Tjai Nielsen, assistant professor of management; Liesl Riddle, associate professor of international business;  Dave Schwandt of the GSEHD ELP and Jeffrey Lenn, associate vice president of academic operations.
